KORO Multi-Catch Floating Muskrat Trap

This floating muskrat trap is capable of multiple captures and can be set for lethal or non-lethal applications. The platform of the trap measures 24"L x 24"W x 21"H. It has styrofoam sandwiched in between the plywood panels for added bouyancy. The wooden platform FLOATS at the waters surface allowing the muskrats to climb up on it and enter the trap via the passive door which projects above the waters surface. With a baiting door provided, the preferred bait ie.(carrots, apples, parsnips etc.) is placed in a large baiting compartment located in the upper chamber of the trap to attract muskrats from a good distance away.Some muskrat lure drizzled onto the bait will act as an added attraction and call the muskrats from longer distances. When the trap is set in a lethal manner, the plunge hole door is left unlocked. When the captured muskrats find they cannot escape they dive down the plunge hole and are drowned in the cage which is below the surface of the water. If you would like to live-capture the muskrats, simply lock the plunge hole door with lock  (supplied) and the muskrats will remain above the waters surface.
